About Inspections and Observations

The Kyoto Art Center accepts inspections and tours. If you would like an overview of the museum by the staff, please fill in the necessary information in the "Inspection and tour of the Kyoto Art Center" and apply. Depending on the implementation status, we may not be able to meet your request for a date and time. Thank you for your understanding. * Common areas such as the library and information corner can be viewed freely without application.

For Artists

If you wish to work at Kyoto Art Center, we recommend that you visit the actual exhibitions and performances as much as possible to experience the atmosphere of the venue.
The studio is not open to the public, so if you are considering applying for a production support project, you can use drawings and Street View (Facility introduction pagePlease contact us if there are circumstances that require an individual preliminary inspection.
If you are considering applying for a co-program, please take advantage of the briefing session.

About filming in the museum

You are free to take snapshots in the common areas.

  • It is not possible to occupy a place or shoot using a tripod or reflex plate.
  • Please be careful not to obstruct the passage of other users or to be reflected.
  • There are areas where photography is prohibited, such as in the library and exhibited works, so please check with the notices and nearby staff.
  • The grounds are off-limits.
  • If you are visiting the museum for the purpose of photography, please contact us in advance.

Snapping

When taking snapshots, please be careful not to obstruct traffic or reflect other users.
In addition, the availability of photography varies depending on the work, so please check for each work to see if it can be photographed or posted on social media.

Production of artwork

About Location Photography

We are currently considering accepting them for a fee. As soon as it is decided, we will inform you on this page.
