Browsing Assistance
Here are some of the browsing support functions that will help you use the Kyoto Art Center website comfortably.* Please understand that depending on the device or browser you are using, and its settings, you may not be able to use the browsing support function.
Changing the size of text and the screen
You can use the function of your browser to change the size of the text and screen. Please refer to the following explanation for the procedure for each browser you are using.
For Internet Explorer
Select "Text size" from "Display" in the menu bar and set the desired font size. For detailshere page.

Set the desired screen size from the menu button "Zoom" in the upper right corner of the screen. For detailshere page.
For Safari
Select "Enlarge" from "View" in the menu bar and set the desired screen size. For detailshere page.
Read aloud
You can use the functions of your computer or smartphone to read the text on the site aloud. See below for specific instructions.
PC's text-to-speech function
For Windows
The Narrator feature allows you to read text on your screen aloud. For detailshere page. If you are using Microsoft Edge, there is also a reading function other than the above. For detailshere page.
On Mac
If you select "Speech" from "Edit" in the top menu bar, you can read the selected item on the screen aloud. There is also a way to use the built-in iOS VoiceOver feature.

Smartphone text-to-speech function
For iPhone
Open the "Settings" app and select "General". You can set the text-to-speech function from "Speech" in "Accessibility" in it. Detailed instructions are available athere page.
For Android
Open the "Settings" app and select "Advanced". If you turn on "Select to speak" in "Accessibility", you can listen to the selected item on the screen and its explanation aloud. Detailed instructions are available athere page.
