Opening Hours & Accessibility
The Kyoto Art Center is a creative and dissemination center established with the aim of comprehensively promoting the arts in Kyoto City. It is a place to appreciate a variety of arts such as exhibitions and stage performances, and at the same time, it supports the creative and presentation activities of artists. In addition, the library, information corner, café, etc. can be used by anyone on a daily basis (please check the details of each facility for information on closed days, etc.).

- from 28th December to 4th January *The center may temporary close for a regular check of equipments. The library may also close irregularly. Please check it at the Library.

- There is a Braille information board and an intercom at the entrance. If you need assistance with entry, please let us know.
- Guide dogs, service dogs, and hearing dogs are allowed to enter the museum. If you would like to participate in performances or workshops, please contact the office (TEL: 075-213-1000).
For passengers using wheelchairs
- Wheelchairs are available free of charge at the office. Please contact us if you need it.
- Wheelchair accessible elevators are available.
- Wheelchair accessible toilets are located on the 1st floor of the South Building and the 2nd floor of the South Building.
For customers with visual impairments
- There is a Braille information board and an intercom at the entrance.
- Braille signs are available in the building and in the elevator.
For passengers traveling with small children
- Beds for changing diapers are available in the wheelchair accessible restrooms on the 1st floor of the South Building and the 2nd floor of the South Building.
