🥕KAC Performing Arts Program 2024🥕
KAC Performing Arts Program, organized and produced by KYOTO ART CENTER has presented various performances by cutting-edge artists.
This time, Kyoto Art Center is teaming up with MASUKAWA Kenta, a young choreographer based in Kyoto.
MASUKAWA is a choreographer who explores the relationship between words and the body using the Butoh method. In this work, he and co-choreographers WATANABE Ayako and KURODA Kenta will use the unlikely combination of a “cooking recipe” and a “butoh-hu (butoh notation)” as stakes to develop new physical textures on stage.
