Art-Business Co-creative Base “Utsuwa” version, performed by working professionals

From January to March 2025, Art and Business Co-creation base ”UTSUWA” and a playwright MURAKOSO Yutaro jointly organized a course for working professionals to build communicative competence and imagination through theatrical method. The participants will play “Tool” with MURAKOSO, as a result of the course.
A Note on the Performance by Yutaro MURAKOSO
I once described theatre as “a practice in alteration.” The loud accusations demanding that we take responsibility for the consequences are always formalistic and hollow, which makes me think there are countless smaller responsibilities that should have been considered and shared earlier. As a form of resistance or perhaps a coping mechanism against the demand to take responsibility, I believe alteration should be more widely embraced. After taking an action, we struggle to rewrite that action with our hands, believing that there may still be something that can be saved. It might seem futile, but this feels like a genuine engagement both with the action and with the struggle to alter it that follows.
