By Train

• 5 minutes walk from Exit 22/24 at “SHIJO STATION”on the Subway
• 5 minutes walk from Exit 22/24 at “KARASUMA STATION” on the Hankyu Railway　Kyoto-Line.
• Get to the “Sanjo Station” on the Keihan Railway Main-Line and change the train to the “KARASUMA OIKE　STATION” on the Subway Tozai-Line, then walk for 10 minutes from Exit 4.

By Kyoto city bus

• Get off at “SHIJO-KARASUMA” bus stop, then walk 5 minutes north on Muromachi St.

By car

• There is no parking lot for the automobiles. Please use public transportation.

By Bicycle, motorbike

• Parking space for bicycles and motorcycles is located at the north of the building.
• This parking space is only for the visitors to the Kyoto Art Center.
• We may remove bicycles and motorcycles that are left there for a long time without notice.

• About 10 minutes from the Karasuma Exit taxi stand at Kyoto Station.

For customers with visual impairments

• There is a Braille information board and an intercom at the entrance.
• Braille signs are available in the building and in the elevator.

For passengers traveling with small children

• Beds for changing diapers are available in the wheelchair accessible restrooms on the 1st floor of the South Building and the 2nd floor of the South Building.

Osaka International Airport (Itami Airport)

• Take the Osaka Monorail "Osaka Airport" station and get off at "Minami-Ibaraki" station. Take the Hankyu Kyoto Line "Minami-Ibaraki" and get off at "Karasuma" station. 5 minutes walk from Exit 22 and 24.

Kansai International Airport

• Limousine Bus Routes
  From Kansai International Airport, take a limousine bus bound for Kyoto and get off at Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit.
  Take the Kyoto Municipal Subway Karasuma Line to Kyoto Station, get off at Shijo Station, and walk for 5 minutes from Exit 22 and 24.
